WATER SYSTEM NOTICE

The Idledale Water District experienced a water main break today that has been repaired. Due to the loss of water pressure during the repair, the District is issuing a precautionary Boil Water Advisory for residents located within the area highlighted in red on the attached map.

Until further notice, please boil all water used for:

  • Drinking
  • Cooking
  • Brushing teeth
  • Making ice
  • Washing fruits and vegetables
  • Preparing infant formula

Water remains safe for showering, bathing, flushing toilets, and laundry.

As water service is restored and the system is flushed, some residents may notice temporary discoloration of their water. If this occurs, please run cold water only until it runs clear.

The District is working closely with our Operator Responsible in Charge (ORC) and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) and will provide updates as additional information becomes available.

We understand this is an inconvenience and appreciate everyone’s patience as we take these precautionary measures to protect public health and ensure the safety of our community’s water system.
